Winery Earns PLCB Certification

Ruth and Russ Leichliter announced recently that Hidden Creek Winery, located near Silvara in Susquehanna County, has completed requirements for the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board's Responsible Alcohol Management Program. To receive the certification, the owners and employees had to undergo special training in the voluntary program. "We wanted to complete the course to fulfill our responsibility to the community as business owners," Ruth Leichliter said. The business, which ahs been open since November 4, 2006, employs 11 servers who completed the course.
